Seay Goodbye!

Arizona State swingman Sylvester Seay told coach Herb Sendek on Friday that he plans to transfer.

Sendek said he granted Seay his release.

Seay, a 6-foot-7 sophomore from San Bernardino, Calif., was a starter in ASU's season-opening loss to Northern Arizona. But he appeared in only 11 more games. He averaged 3.3 points and 1.8 rebounds. - Azcentral.com

Even though I was guilty of harping on his underperformance, I am still kinda sad to see Seay leave. Its unfortuneate he was unable to fit in with Herb's system and live up to his potential.
